Operator (bobcat)
Job Description
PURPOSE
This position exists to operate the skid steer loader (Bobcat) for the loading, cleaning, and hauling of materials at the Deposition Areas and Plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operation of Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat) to either load, dig, clean trenches or ditch slimes dam.
Ensure that relevant SOP's (Standard operating procedure) for the specific machine is always followed.
Responsible for general housekeeping of the machine.
General inspection of the machine before and after the shift and complete inspection checklist.
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Adhere to CAS System (VDS)
Must be able to communicate in English and write it.
QUALIFICATION
Grade 12.
Bobcat Competency Certificate.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 12 months operating the equipment.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must be responsible and accountable.
Must be medically fit.
Pass Dover Test.
Ability to operate with VDS System (Dot Netix)
