Job Requirements:

The ideal applicant will possess the following:- Minimum Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification. Diploma in Transport Management or equivalent qualification will be an advantage. Valid Code EC, EC1 0.4 or C drivers' licence and PrDP.. Min 4 years experience in logistics or transport operations, preferably in bus or fleet operations. Proven experience supervising daily bus operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and route coordination. Experience managing drivers, shifts, attendance, and performance. Strong knowledge of transport regulations, road safety standards, and compliance requirements.

Job Outputs

: Ensure that the service operates in accordance with the planned schedule. Monitor passenger flow, build ups, poor patronage and unreasonable time waiting. Supervise sub-ordinates and monitor sleeping grounds. Investigate complaints regarding the operation. Keep abreast of developments and activities within the operational area. Monitoring of subordinates e.g. Transport Officers, dispatchers and analyze their documents. Monitor and control DC shortages on a daily basis. Check and monitor route diversion and adherence. Check , control and monitor shift coverage. Investigate Accidents & Incidents and make recommendations. Sign log slips. Analyse registers. Maintain & Initiate discipline. Ensure provision of a high quality service to passengers. Conduct and schedule Driver Debriefing sessions. Oversee subordinates time and attendance.
