Airbnb Operations Manager (Maintenance)

Location: De Waterkant

Full-time | Own Vehicle Required | Tech-Savvy | Property Management Experience

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about property maintenance? Join our growing short-term rental team as an Operations Manager (Maintenance) and play a key role in delivering 5-star guest experiences across our Airbnb portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and ensure properties are guest-ready. Manage all maintenance-related tasks including plumbing, electrical, general repairs, and emergencies. Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers. Execute preventative maintenance plans for appliances, air conditioning, geysers, and more. Respond promptly to maintenance issues raised by guests or cleaning teams. Track work orders, document repairs, and keep accurate maintenance logs. Maintain essential supplies and ensure inventory is stocked.

Requirements:

Proven experience in property or maintenance management Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication - both with guests and teams. Able to work flexible hours and handle urgent call-outs. Own reliable vehicle (travel between properties required). Smartphone and tech-savvy (Google Drive, Trello, Airbnb apps, etc.). Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude.
