Job Summary Requirements

  • Tertiary certification or qualification, ideally in a related field such as psychology, social work, or suitable alternative.
  • Experience in Operational Management/Supervision, which included administrative functions
  • Facilities Management
  • Experience in working with people with Autism and have some knowledge of PECS or AAC communication methods
  • Excellent people skills
  • Financial exposure with managing expenditure to a budget, controlling cash
  • Ideally exposure to managing a Medical Ward/Care Home/Special Needs facility or something similar
  • Working knowledge of PECS and other AA
Key Responsibilities
The role of the Operations Manager role is to oversee and manage operations - people, buildings, activities and admin - and day to day running of the Care Facility encompassing both day centres and residential facilities.
