Job Description
An opportunity exists for a Operations Manager to be based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.
KPA - To manage and control the business development strategies & tactical planning in the operational / production division.
Providing appropriate interaction & fostering good relations with all stakeholders in support of the overall business strategy, plans and objectives of the business.
Duties : -
Operational planning, direction & leadership
- Operational performance & profitability
- Implementation of vision, mission, action plans & strategies
- Customer satisfaction
- Business development & growth
- Process improvement, utilization & resource allocation
- Beneficial supplier relations
- Employee wellbeing & resource planning HR & IR
- Polices & procedures
- Health & Safety
- Scrap / loss control
Minimum - Matric + Technical Qualification and/or Production & Quality Management
Advantage: Diploma
Experience - 5-7 years in medium to large organization
- 5+ General work experience in Medium to Large Service & Manufacturing Organization
- Ideal: 10 +Years In Medium to Large Service & Manufacturing Organization
Computer literacy: MS Office CAD Navision / SAP
SKILLS
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse technical sales team.
Present information and negotiate with all levels of management
Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills
