Job Summary Operations Manager - Luxury Private Island | Zanzibar Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and dedicated Operations Manager to join a world-class luxury private island property in Zanzibar. This is an exciting live-in opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence in a high-end, remote environment. Requirements: Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a similar operations management role within luxury hospitality Strong computer literacy and administrative skills Fluent in English (oral and written) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills High personal presentation, professionalism, and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to mentor and contribute to a positive team culture Passion for guest delight, service excellence, and operational efficiency Responsibilities: Support senior management in the daily operations of the island property Oversee front-of-house, Food & Beverage, and guest-facing operations, ensuring service standards are upheld Lead and mentor staff, assisting with training and professional development Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, dietary requirements, special requests, and daily itineraries Maintain administrative systems, including reporting, beverage control, and operational orders Uphold brand standards, styling, and presentation across all areas of the property Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure impeccable standards Participate in management meetings and contribute to operational planning and decisions Lead sustainability and conservation initiatives, including the Green Team Support social media, PR communications, and staff engagement initiatives Remain flexible with working hours to meet operational needs and unexpected guest requests Package: Salary: Negotiable, DOE Live-in accommodation provided Work in a world-class luxury private island environment Opportunity to grow in a prestigious, remote hospitality setting To Apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, and qualifications togay Please note: Due to high application volumes, only candidates meeting the listed requirements will be contacted.
