Operations Manager (logistics)

More about the opportunity:
International Logistics group with a large footprint in South America requires the expertise of a seasoned Operations and Warehouse Manager for their newly established site in Johannesburg East. The group has embarked on a large expansion project and needs a skilled individual who can hit the ground running and partner with senior management to establish their brand. Some of your key duties will include running the operations successfully, analyzing and producing financial reports for senior management, and dealing with labour matters that would influence operations. If you have a track record of establishing a warehouse/factory, then I would like to hear from you.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics or related field
- 3 to 5 years experience in a warehousing, logistics, and operations role
- Experience working in the FMCG/Logistics/Supply Chain sectors
- Microsoft Excel advanced skills
- Sound financial and labour-related background
