Oversee all operational activities across CPU, Preservation, Convoy, and PDI functions.
Plan and manage manpower, ensuring productivity, cost control, and compliance with customer KPIs.
Maintain accurate billing, KPI reporting, and operational documentation.
Monitor daily performance and lead supervisors to achieve efficiency and safety targets.
Manage preservation schedules, ensuring vehicles are retail-ready and compliant with customer standards.
Coordinate convoy operations, ensuring secure, accurate, and timely movement of units.
Oversee PDI processes, ensuring accuracy, timely claims, and quality compliance.
Ensure inventory accuracy and system integrity through effective use of V-Motion Yard Management.
Lead and develop staff, ensuring adequate training, fair workload distribution, and compliance with company policies.
Manage and reduce operational damages and associated costs.
Ensure fleet maintenance, safety, and operational readiness.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators: safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee efficiency.
Enforce safety standards, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with ISO and SHEQ requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
Support ad-hoc customer requests and maintain strong communication channels.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Matric/ Grade 12 or equivalent - 10-15 years working experience in a vehicle logistics and/or yard management environment. - Some technical fitment knowledge will be advantageous. - Diploma/Degree or studying towards a diploma/degree in Logistics. - Proven understanding of effectively utilising system solutions to successfully run operations. - Effective management of staff (over 80 employees at 1 site) - Effective utilisation of resources to run lean operations. - Must have sound computer knowledge and applications at an advance level (Full MS Office Suite, Supply Chain Management Systems, Yard Management Systems).
