Operations Manager - KZNFull job descriptionFast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Project ManagerThe Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in line with FMCG project objectives.Responsibilities:Develop project plans and schedules that meet customer requirements, timelines and objectives.Manage project costs and budget allocations.Develop and maintain effective project relationships with customers and vendors.Monitor project status, timeline and budget regularly and report to stakeholders.Establish and maintain project communication plans utilizing appropriate methods and tools.Coordinate activities between FMCG teams, development partners, and suppliers.xe2x80xa2 Facilitate project meetings and assist in resolving project issues.Identify and leverage reusable development components and best practices.xe2x80xa2 Manage supplier staff and contract deliverables.Identify and document lessons learned and best practices.xe2x80xa2 Oversee and ensure successful completion of projects.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. xe2x80xa2 Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG project management.Proven track record in the Kwazulu - Natal areaAdditional ResponsibilitiesRetail Store Location FinderThe Retail Store Location Finder is responsible for scouting and securing suitable sites for new store locations for an organization or business.This role entails research, negotiations, and management of the entire process of establishing a new store in a specific community or city.Duties and responsibilities include:Conduct market research by analyzing demographical, competitive, and economic factors to assess potential store locations.Source and evaluate potential locations through visits, surveys, and community meetings.Negotiate lease terms and conditions, real estate sales agreements and other contracts.Liaise with community representatives, small business owners, landlords, and other stakeholders.Develop timelines and budgets for site selection and store build-out processes.Supervise store build-outs and ensure timely completion of store designs, furniture and fixture installations, POS systems, and other amenities and services.Coordinate with contractors and supervise the building of prototypes and design plans.Maintain current knowledge of relevant municipal and regional regulations.Develop, prepare and deliver presentation materials.xe2x80xa2 Regularly assess and report on completion status and progress for all related store location projects.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: R30,000.00 - R45,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Shakaskraal, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
