My client, based within the East Rand, who is a market leader within the beverage space; manufactures, distributes and markets their products within various substrates ranging from cans, bottles and other formats.
They were originally established in the late 1880s, and with a global footprint in over 200 countries, their staff compliment is over 85 000.
They are excited for a new Operations Manager to join their team.
The Operations Manager's primary purpose is to optimize the organization's operations to achieve its goals efficiently, safely, and in a cost-effective manner. They will play a pivotal role in the organization's success by ensuring that it runs smoothly, meets customer needs, and adapts to changing market conditions.
The successful Incumbent will report into the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for Operational and Supply Chain Optimization, Continuous Improvement Strategies, Change Management Process, Management of Procurement Process, Research, Develop, Implementation and Maintenance Supply Chain Modelling tools, and Analyse Operational Performance.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Preferably BEng or BSc in Industrial Engineering OR Minimum B.Com Hons in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics Management (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 6 - 7 years experience within the Manufacturing, FMCG, Engineering or Construction Industry
- Minimum 3 years management experience
- SAP experience Non-Negotiable
