Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for an Operations Manager based in Durban. You must be from a FMCG production plant.
Food and Beverages experience is a non negotiable for this role.
Requirements:
- Degree with relevance to the position.
- Fluent business English skills.
- Code 8 driver's license.
- 5 to 10+ years' experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes.
- 5 to 10+ years' experience in People Management.
- Knowledge and experience in food production.
- Manage department operations and ensure optimal stock holding levels.
- Optimize and reduce the operational unit cost.
- Develop and motivate cost-effective alternatives and improvements for the production process.
- Perform analysis of manufacturing materials and determine control levels.
- Manage and reduce service consumption such as water, electricity, etc.
- Ensure adequate market supply and production scheduling.
- Manage the capacity utilization of equipment.
