The Operations Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing the overall operations, sales, financial performance as well as people management of the branch. The primary goal is to ensure that the branch remains sustainable by achieving business objectives, whilst maintaining efficiency, customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum National senior certificate
Qualification in Operations Management advantageous
5 Years experience in supervisory experience in a Operations environment essential.
Sound understanding of Production and manufacturing environment.
Strong Product knowledge
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills essential.
SAP & computer literacy experience essential.
Must be self-motivated with ability to motivate others.
Able to function independently, organised and manage time efficiently.
Interact with all role players at all levels of organization.
Ability to collaborate across departments within the organization.
Prepared to multi-task, work overtime or flexible shifts when required
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise all staff in operations.
Control of allocated stock levels
Manage all quality controls within department.
Ensure pre-planning of production.
Set clear team goals and ensure daily targets are met.
Monitoring of all incoming stock
Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
Assist with stock take.
Manage communication with branches and customers.
* Handle disciplinary issues in his/her area.
