They are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Operations / Fleet Manager to oversee operations for one of their key clients in the petroleum industry, based in Secunda.


The Operations / Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, effective client relationship management, and oversight of staff performance at the Secunda site. This individual will play a key role in coordinating logistics, managing fleet activity, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards, and maintaining service excellence in a highly blue-collar environment


Key Responsibilities

Manage a team of drivers, operators, and support staff to ensure adherence to schedules, safety standards, and productivity targets. Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement, performance feedback, and issue resolution. Prepare and submit purchase orders (POs), process invoices, and track operational costs to ensure profitability. Monitor fleet usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and service quality. Prepare operational and performance reports for senior management. * Support employee relations, including discipline, attendance, and performance management.
