. The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective running of daily operations, while also supporting long-term strategic objectives. The Operations Executive translates executive strategies into actionable plans, optimize processes, and proactively resolves operational challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree in business management or a degree in Industrial Engineering.
10 years' proven experience in operations or general management roles.
Strong understanding of operations processes, ERP systems, and industry compliance requirements.
Experience with labour relations, occupational health and safety, and regulatory frameworks.
Financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, and capital planning.
Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, delivery timelines, and customer service levels.
Implement and manage operational projects and process improvements.
Coordinate with customer-facing teams to resolve service issues and enhance customer experience.
Financial Management
Develop and manage large-scale operational budgets and capital expenditure plans.
Monitor financial performance, control costs, and ensure profitability through effective cost management and budget forecasting.
Review and negotiate contracts, leases, and vendor agreements to ensure financial efficiency.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure readiness for audits.
Oversee health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance in all operational areas.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Lead initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct performance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Strategic Planning
Contribute to long-term planning of facilities and operations, including site expansion or consolidation.
Provide operational insights to executive leadership to support broader business strategies.
Monitor market trends and propose growth opportunities or process adaptations.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and motivate large cross-functional teams.
Work closely with departments including finance, HR, sales, and marketing to align operational strategies with business objectives.
