Job Description
Our client in the Transport/Logistics Industry is looking for a Operations Coordinator (Transport/Logistics - Cross border/Dangerous goods) to oversee daily logistics operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Job Title: Operations Coordinator (Transport/Logistics)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with Dangerous/Hazardous goods in the Logistics sector
- Cross border experience
- Scheduling, Dispatching and Administration
- Export documents (Cross border)
- Loading point driver compliance
- Physical inspections on trucks
- Trip end close off and POD splitting
- Tracking - Google Sheet "AJAX"
- Daily customer tracking emails
- Daily fleet tracking emails
- Daily fleet monitoring
- Permits and licensing
- Load management
- Designated person for hazardous substances/Chemicals
- Fire prevention and protection coordinator/fire officer
- Qualified person for the offloading operations of dangerous goods
- Incident and accident investigator
- Must have at least 5 to 8 years experience in the Logistics industry
- Fleet and compliance management knowledge
- Proven experience in a Operations Coordinator / Fleet Controller role
- Strong knowledge of Logistics experience within dangerous/Hazardous industry
- Transportation of dangerous and Hazardous goods
- Cross border logistics experience
- Strong administrative and digital tracking skills
