Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock movements are correctly captured and reconciled. Coordinate daily dispatch operations -- ensuring trucks are loaded accurately, documentation is complete, and deliveries are dispatched on time. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in investigating variances or missing cargo. Capture operational data such as load sheets, fuel usage, and equipment activity logs. Track diesel consumption for warehouse equipment and report irregularities. Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and communication across operations. Support compliance with safety, housekeeping, and operational standards. Prepare and submit daily and weekly operational reports to management.
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12). Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in warehouse, inventory control, or dispatch coordination. Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and warehouse management systems. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Willingness to work overtime or weekends during busy periods.
