Work Hours (Client) : Flexible, but must have overlap with UK business hours
Pay Range : $1500 - $2000 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)
Location of Search : South Africa
Work Location : REMOTE
Type of Contract : Independent Contractor; Initially part-time, progressing to full-time.

We are looking for a proactive Operations Assistant with a strong financial background to support our growing service-based business. This role goes beyond routine admin work--you'll play an active part in keeping the business organized, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping drive growth through process improvements and content initiatives.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. You'll be trusted with both operational tasks and business-building projects that add real value.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Business Administration

  • Manage day-to-day business operations and administrative tasks.
  • Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues, not just following set instructions.
  • Organize documents, files, and communications to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in scheduling, coordination, and internal communications.
2. Bookkeeping & Financial Tracking
  • Record and reconcile transactions accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial dashboards and reports.
  • Support in monitoring cash flow and business performance metrics.
  • Liaise with accountants or external partners as needed.
3. Business Development & Growth Support
  • Build and maintain the CRM system to improve efficiency.
  • Repurpose existing content (e.g., customer "how-it-works" emails) into blogs, guides, or other marketing materials.
  • Assist in streamlining processes and suggesting improvements.
  • Conduct research and provide support for new initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
  • Prior experience in business operations, administration, or a similar support role.
  • Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills (basic accounting knowledge is a plus).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (experience with Go High Level a plus)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, CRM systems).
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
