We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented
Operations Assistant
to support the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the business. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Directors, the successful candidate will play a key role in order processing, retail and insurance orders, office administration, and aftersales support to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Retail Support
Monitor and track orders to ensure timely and accurate processing
Process insurance, retail, and sales orders, including Insrap, Fundi, Ackermans, Pep, and Mr Price
Manage kitting requests, invoicing, delivery tracking, and Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
Update tracking systems and follow up with couriers on outstanding deliveries
Office Administration
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data capturing, scanning, and recordkeeping
Create purchase orders and goods receipt vouchers (GRVs)
Maintain accurate inventory and delivery records
Support internal teams with administrative and operational tasks
Aftersales Support
Assist with aftersales queries, returns, and warranty processes
Track and resolve customer complaints in line with service level agreements
Liaise with Customer Service and Technical Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Reporting & Communication
Compile and submit accurate operational reports within required timelines
Acknowledge and respond to internal and external communications timeously
Provide regular feedback to relevant stakeholders
General Support
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
Maintain a neat and professional work environment
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
Support cross-functional teams as required
Minimum Requirements
Matric and/or relevant Diploma (minimum)
2+ years' proven experience
in an Operations Assistant, Office Assistant, or similar role
Experience within the
ICT sector
will be advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's licence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
