Our client, a well-established Transport and Logistics Company, is seeking an Operations Assistant to join their team,
Location: Cape Town
Job type: Permanent On-site
Duties and Responsibilities
- Client bookings
- Truck bookings - delivering note issuing, control and invoicing
- Monitor vehicle tracking and producing fuel and revenue reports
- Tyre Management
- Client & Company queries
- Industrial relations
- Managing the daily crew board, casuals and staff overtime
- Vehicle data capturing
- Estimating and calculating of office moves
- Claims handling
- Handling of petty cash
- Minimum qualification Grade 12 with mathematics
- A National Transport Diploma or similar qualification would be an advantage
- Minimum 2-years in Logistics, Transport or Operations experience
- Computer literacy on Google web-based applications, Excel & Word
- Industrial Relations experience
- Assess and streamline processes
- Drivers Licence Code B
- Strong communicator
- Excellent analytical skills with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail
- Efficient
- Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes
