Job Description
Our Client is looking for a candidate who is deeply passionate about vegetable seed improvement and committed to long-term growth within the company. The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, plant science, or a related field.
- Proven practical experience in onion production and onion seed cultivation (this is essential).
- Experience in broader vegetable production.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within a specialist team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintain and improve existing onion and other vegetable cultivars.
- Development of new vegetable cultivars, with a strong focus on onions.
- Coordination of seed production and processing.
- Coordination of seed distribution to customers.
The ideal candidate will have:
