OPERATIONAL MANAGER: MECHANISATION

mechanisation environment? NWK, one of the leading New Holland dealers in South Africa, is actively seeking a highly motivated and
experienced individual to fill the role of Operational Manager in our Mechanisation Division.

Purpose of the position: As the Operational Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient functioning of the Mechanisation Division. You will be
instrumental in optimising processes, meeting profit targets, managing new/used/parts inventory levels and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities:

Financial management: xefx82xb7 Developing and executing financial strategies to achieve and exceed profit targets. xefx82xb7 Monitoring and controlling expenses, as well as taking corrective actions as needed. xefx82xb7 Conducting thorough analyses of financial performance and proposing improvements.

Supply chain and inventory management: xefx82xb7 Setting and implementing stock management guidelines to optimise inventory levels. xefx82xb7 Conducting regular stock takes, analysing deviations, and managing stock compilations. xefx82xb7 Selecting and managing suppliers to ensure optimal inventory value levels.

Marketing and sales strategy: xefx82xb7 Developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy. xefx82xb7 Managing and controlling gross profit margins. xefx82xb7 Expanding market share through effective marketing initiatives. xefx82xb7 Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Customer relationship management: xefx82xb7 Addressing customer dissatisfaction by implementing corrective actions. xefx82xb7 Conducting regular customer visits to strengthen relationships.

Operational leadership: xefx82xb7 Overseeing the entire operational functions and staff budgets for whole goods, parts, workshops, and administration. xefx82xb7 Developing and executing training and development plans for staff. xefx82xb7 Leading recruitment efforts and managing disciplinary actions. xefx82xb7 Fostering a positive organisational culture and maintaining high morale.

Minimum requirements: xefx82xb7 BCom degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Financial Accountancy, Operations Management, or a related field. xefx82xb7 Post graduate management qualification will serve as a recommendation. xefx82xb7 Seven (7) years operational management experience. xefx82xb7 Ten (10) years of experience in marketing, sales, and financial management, preferably in a mechanisation milieu.
