Remote position, Cape Town. Opportunity exists for professional, well-groomed candidate with standout people skills and a hands-on approach for role of Onsite Event Registration Manager to oversee the event registration process at various high-end corporate events.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup and management of the event registration area, ensuring a seamless check-in process for all guests
• Train and supervise temporary promotional staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to interact correctly and professionally with guests
• Ensure all necessary equipment, including laptops and printers, are transported safely to the venue, set up correctly, and fully operational prior to the event's commencement
• Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times, reflecting the high standards of corporate events
• Liaise with Event Coordinators and other staff to ensure registration processes align with overall event objectives
• Address any issues or guest inquiries with poise and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees

• Proven experience in hospitality / event management or a similar role, with a focus on registration processes and staff training
• Exceptional grooming and presentation standards suitable for high-end corporate environments
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate temporary staff
• Excellent organizational and logistical skills, with the capacity to handle transportation of event equipment
• IT proficient in setting up and troubleshooting basic technical equipment (e.g., laptops, printers)
• Reliable transportation to carry event equipment and travel to various event locations
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing excellent guest service
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed for events
