Global Africa Network Media ( www.globalafricanetwork.com and www.bluechipdigital.co.za ) has an exciting opportunity for an online editor to join their B2B digital publishing team based in Cape Town .
This is an ideal position for a junior journalism/media graduate seeking a first job in financial digital media . Working on Blue Chip Digital ( www.bluechipdigital.co.za ) and reporting to the publishing director and online strategist, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the companyxe2x80x99s online strategy.

The day-to-day tasks will include:
Loading thought leader and paid-for content sourced by the content team onto the website
Original writing is not required, but candidate will be responsible for generating and sourcing additional content (including industry specialists, PR agencies, industry bodies)
Track and monitor client content placement
Prepare and send email newsletters on Mailchimp
Assist with analytics (traffic) and reporting
Implement companyxe2x80x99s social media strategies on Linked In and Twitter
Upload e-books, banners, podcasts and videos

Required:
Ability to source content from writers and clients
Experience in working with Wordpress and Mailchimp (or similar)
Ability to copy-edit and good communication skills
Comfortable with Linked In and Twitter
Proficiency in Google Analytics set-up and reporting an advantage
