Hey! I'm Henry, and I started OnForm Finance with my wife to help small and medium-sized businesses - especially in e-commerce and tech - get the financial support they need to grow with confidence.
We provide outsourced finance services to businesses doing up to 10M in revenue, including bookkeeping, accounting, financial control, and CFO-level support.
We're a small, sharp, and hands-on team based across the UK and India, and we pride ourselves on being proactive, reliable, and people-focused.

We're looking for a Client-Facing Financial Controller who's confident with numbers, curious about performance, and motivated to help small businesses make smart financial decisions.
You'll be the go-to finance lead for a group of our SME clients - bringing accounting experience, strong systems know-how, and a clear sense of ownership. You'll not just report the numbers, but help clients understand them and use them to grow.
In this role, you will:
? Oversee end-to-end financial operations for a dedicated portfolio of SME clients
? Lead regular client calls to review reports, forecasts, and discuss financial priorities
??? Manage and mentor Finance Partners, supporting high-quality delivery and team growth
? Build and maintain financial tools like dashboards, reporting packs, and KPI models
?? Improve internal workflows and processes for efficiency and accuracy
?This is a full-time role with flexible hours, but most of our clients work on UK (GMT+1) or New York (GMT-4) time.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you need:
? Strong grasp of double-entry and accrual-based accounting
? Hands-on experience owning end-to-end finance in a small team
? Solid progression from data entry/bookkeeping to management accounting/control
? Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
? Confident working across finance software like Xero and Google Workspace
Brownie points for:
? Experience leading client calls and building trust
? Past experience mentoring or managing junior team members
? Comfortable solving messy or complex financial challenges
The ideal person is detail-obsessed but collaborative, curious, and humble. You're someone who asks good questions, doesn't take the numbers at face value, and genuinely wants to help others make better decisions. You like working in small teams, owning your time, and being someone clients can rely on.
