Job Summary Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution. Completion of a Master's or postgraduate qualification in Oncology Pharmacy is highly beneficial for specialization in oncology. Registration: Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) is mandatory. Internship and Community Service: Completion of a one-year internship after obtaining the B.Pharm degree. Successful completion of the community service year. Oncology Specialization: Work Experience: At least 1 year experience as an Oncology Pharmacists. Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Evidence of ongoing professional development with advancements in this field. (workshops, conferences, and obtaining additional certifications). Ethical and Legal Requirements: Adherence to the ethical and legal standards set by the SAPC is essential. Good Standing: Pharmacist must be in good standing with the SAPC; there should be no disciplinary actions or issues on record. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in relevant computer applications and systems used in pharmacy practice.
