Job Description


An accounting firm in Paarl is seeking a client-oriented individual with exceptional organisational skills with a friendly, professional demeanour to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to effectively manage incoming calls, greet clients, and assist with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform trust and estate enquiries
  • General estate and trust administration
  • General SARS administration (e.g. appointment of a representatives)
  • CIPC Compliance (e.g. uploading Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO); compliance checklists)
  • Handle enquiries regarding tax clearance certificates
  • Maintain Shareholder register and issue Shareholder certificates
  • Professional and friendly reception of clients and handling of switchboard
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries promptly and accurately
  • General administrative assistance and support to management
  • Petty cash management
Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Matric
  • Certification in office administration will be advantageous
  • Previous work experience in a similar role (Secretarial background)
  • Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English)
  • Detail-orientated and well developed organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
