Currently we are searching for an Office Assistant for Durban, South Africa.
Responsibilities of this Post:
Assist with maintaining office operations by providing office support duties, e.g. receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence/parcels (including internal and external); copying, binding and filing.
Coordinate the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
Monitor the use of office equipment and supplies within the office.
Manage the pantry stock including tissue paper, milk, tea, sugar and drinks etc.
Maintain the front desk, pantry, meeting rooms and office are clean and tidy.
Maintain records and follow up files of purchases and related matters.
Monitor, maintain and replenish office supplies and inventory levels.
Assist with meeting rooms set up/tidying up before/after meetings, conferences, activities and events.
Review purchase orders for accuracy, completeness and clarify and produce quotations comparison and/proposal as appropriate.
Requirements of this Post:
One to two years experience as an Office Assistant.
A pro-active and 'can-do' attitude towards existing working practices.
Knowledge of office procedures, methods and equipment.
Good team player with pleasant, flexible, responsible and detail minded character.
