Job Description

DUTIES:

Work closely within the PDP process to guide product development to meet the customers and business needs Carry out investigations for marketing and sales input to cross functional teams Facilitate flow of information between customer - sales - manufacturing Initiate and develop sales training aids and marketing tools Develop and implement application tools Develop marketing literature and advertisements to enhance the Bell brand Obtain all round knowledge of all industry products, services and brand offerings Understand the market and Bell positioning for various regions Investigations and detailed motivations with regards to new business opportunities Undertake and implement actions from market research Develop and manage the product portfolio for various products Provide a quarterly business review on various products Analyze and make proposals with regard to the financial business case for new and existing products. Be the central point for information relating to various products Be prepared to travel extensively both locally and internationally

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have either a tertiary qualification in engineering or in a commercial / marketing field (both would be an added advantage) Preferably 5 years experience within the Bell organisation or similar environment Applicants with application and product knowledge of the forestry or agricultural industry will have an advantage Must have good knowledge of all Bell systems including (SOP, Mapics,PDP) Extensive software knowledge - powerpoint and excel are essential Basic knowledge of Bell's entire product offering A strong understanding of life time revenue stream Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels both internally, externally with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be self motivated and able to work independently Must be prepared and able to travel extensively both locally and internationally with limited notice.
