Lead and oversee all HR operational functions at the site, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labour legislation.
Drive talent development initiatives, coaching and mentoring employees to enhance skills and engagement.
Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organisational goals.
Foster a positive workplace culture, ensuring employee empowerment, motivation, and retention.
Manage industrial relations, addressing employee issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters in line with legislation and company policies.
Oversee HR processes and reporting, maintaining accurate employee records and generating management insights.
Lead recruitment campaigns to attract top talent for current and future needs.
Develop and implement training programs, succession planning, and career development initiatives to build internal capability.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labour laws at all times.
Collaborate with other departments, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless HR support and alignment.
Support change management initiatives and contribute to organisational transformation projects.
Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to senior management to guide decision-making.
Demonstrate leadership potential and prepare for growth into an HR Director role.
Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (B.Tech / Degree).
5-7 years HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, automotive environment, or OEM setting.
Experience working with MIBCO (Advantageous)
Proven experience in full HR function delivery, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.
Automotive dealer/OEM experience - Payroll / HR
Strong knowledge of labour legislation, CCMA and HR best practices in South Africa.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop employees.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving
Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including HR metrics and dashboards.
PC literate: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems experience.
Valid driver's license and clean criminal record.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
