To qualify for this YES program, you need to meet the below criteria:
18 to 35 years of age
African race
Unemployed
Never been on a YES program before
Job Objectives:
Ensure the efficient setup, customization, and packaging of Omang devices
Prepare devices for deployment by following strict quality control measures.
Support the Production Lead in meeting deadlines for school deployments.
Record keeping and administration related to device deployment.
Handle devices with care and maintain accuracy in repetitive production tasks.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Set up Omang devices (install apps, activate SIM cards, apply stickers, clean, and prepare)
Package devices neatly and securely for distribution
Ensure each device meets quality standards before being approved for deployment
Pay close attention to detail to avoid errors in setup and packaging
Follow the established production process and meet daily/weekly targets
Report any technical or packaging issues immediately to the Production Lead
Maintain honesty, transparency, and reliability in handling all devices
Perform repetitive production tasks efficiently while keeping high quality
Support the team during large-scale deployments
Ensure all devices are ready in time for school handovers
