Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Hygiene Superintendent with a background in the mining industry to join their team in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all occupational hygiene services and functions on site.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation thereof.
- Carrying out SHERQ programs.
- Resource utilization and optimization.
- Departmental / team planning.
- Budgeting and cost control.
- People management including performance management and development.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- National Certificate in Mine and Environmental Control
- SAIOH registration as a Hygienist.
- Certificate in Occupational Health and Hygiene.
- Matric certificate.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 10 years’ experience in occupational hygiene within the mining industry, with at least 3 years in a management level role.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, SHERQ systems, quality management and information management systems.
- Applicants must have South African citizenship and currently reside in South Africa.
