Job Description
Our client, exporter of premium citrus fruit based in the Citrusdal Valley, Western Cape, has an opportunity for a Healthcare Manager to oversee and manage their on-site health centre and wellness initiative. The healt centre was built in 2024 and is a modern facility.The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical skills with the ability to run and coordinate all aspects of a busy clinic.
Start date: 2 February 2026
Working hours - 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Requirements
- Occupational Health Degree or Diploma
- Registration with SANC is a pre-requisite
- Minimum 5 years' experience in community or rural health, plus leadership experience.
- Dispensing Qualification will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of Primary and Occupational Health.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- Empathetic, professional, and passionate about community health.
- Provide Primary Health Care services to employees and community members.
- Manage daily clinic operations, staff, and administration.
- Oversee Occupational Health program and service provider to ensure compliance with legislation.
- Promote preventative health and wellness through education and screenings.
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records and reporting.
- Manage clinic budgets and contribute to continuous improvement.
