AECI Animal Health manufactures animal premixes to customer formulations and requirements, adhering to the highest international quality standards. They're in the top four suppliers, by volume, in South Africa's ruminant and swine markets.
Their core competency lies in blending nutritional supplements comprising vitamins, minerals and amino acids for their customers. In addition to their own premixes, they import and supply feed-grade commodities and represent international market leaders in animal health additives, nutraceuticals and specialty veterinary products.
AECI Animal Health is now looking for a Nutritionist.
Purpose of the job:

• To protect traceability of manufactured goods;
• To evaluate the chemical and nutritional value of raw materials to provide technical advice to clients, the sales team, factory and procurement;
• To load and review specifications of clients on portal and approve
• To maintain quality and food safety management systems

Required outputs: Functional:

• Responsible for providing technical support and responses to Account Managers and clients where required.
• Create and load premixes onto AECI Animal health admin portal
• Final approvals of premixes.
• To assist customers and Account Managers with technical queries and passwords on the Admin portal.
• To assist with the maintenance and updating of the Admin portal.
• Assist with quality of manufacturing, recalls as well as expired / short dated stock management as required.
• Approval for replacements for factory.
• Communicate with Quality Control regarding approvals of raw materials and finished products and quality thereof for use in the factory subsequent to procurement.
• Monitor activities under the incumbent's control with the aim of improving overall productivity.
• To possess the ability to solve problems systematically.
• To appreciate the importance of customer satisfaction and responding to this accordingly.
