Job description

a- Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelines

a- Provide lifestyle management screening tests

a- Conduct "Well Baby" clinics, including health immunisations and baby health monitoring

a- Offer and provide reproductive health services

a- Provide adult immunisations

a- Provide Primary Health Care e.g. minor ailments and wound care

a- Render a Phlebotomy Service

a- Compile professional, stock and financial management reports


a- Manage medical waste, ensure a safe environment and safety precautions are taken

a- Manage adverse events and emergencies

a- Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate

a- Plan and implement "Health Days" and other projects

a- Develop health professional networks

Minimum requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

a- Registration as Professional Nurse

a- 3 year diploma in nursing or the 4 year degree

a- A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health and Midwifery

a- Unisolv and Allegra (preferable)

a- MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:

a- Ensures patient information is held securely, confidentially and accurately maintained on an electronic system

a- Administration and reporting to ensure efficient running of the clinic as per company policy and processes

a- Ensures payment for services received by ensuring controls in place and adhered to

a- Manages, monitors and orders clinic services stock and equipment, along with prevention of loss and shrinkage and monitoring cold chain

a- Financial and commercial acumen

a- Ensures SANC registration and indemnity up to date

a- Establishes locum network and arranges locums


a- Implements and conducts self-audit tool

a- Time management
