School Overview:
Jungle Tots Alberton is a biblically based, nurturing playgroup and preschool dedicated to providing a warm, family-centered, faith-filled environment for young children (ages 1-5).

We are committed to early childhood development through structured play, theme-based learning, and Christian values. Our program follows the Pocket of Preschool Curriculum and aligns with CAPS. Combining academic excellence with spiritual growth.

Position Overview:
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, curriculum development, and creating a positive and enriching learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:
Design and implement a developmentally appropriate and biblically based curriculum that promotes the intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of children.

2. Leadership and Administration:
Student Welfare: Ensuring the well-being and safety of the students, addressing their individual needs, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Oversee daily operations, including managing the classroom.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

3. Spiritual Integration:
Integrate biblical principles and values into the curriculum to create a foundation for spiritual growth and character development.

4. Parental Engagement:
Foster strong partnerships with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and events that promote family involvement.

5. Safety and Well-being:
Ensure a safe and secure environment for all students, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

6. Community Outreach:
Act as a liaison between the nursery school and the community, promoting the school's mission and values.

7. Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM with once a week aftercare to 3:00 PM.
There will be occasional school events like Year End Concerts or Open Days.

Requirements:
ECD Level 5 Certificate.
Police Clearance.
First Aid Preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R5000,00 - R5500,00 per month
