What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

School Nurse

to support the health and wellbeing of our students. This is a

full-time, weekday role

--no shifts or nights.

Qualifications & Experience:

A recognised

academic and professional nursing qualification

from a tertiary institution.

Minimum of 5 years' experience

in a similar nursing role.

Passion for working with children

, combined with compassion and patience. Strong

planning, organisational and administrative abilities.

A calm and confident approach to

problem-solving in emergencies.

Excellent communication skills to engage with children, staff, and parents. Ability to deliver

presentations and staff training sessions.

Proficient

computer skills.

A

clear criminal record.

The responsibilities are:

Prevent the spread of infectious diseases across the school. Provide on-site assessment and care for sick or injured children. Communicate health concerns effectively with parents and healthcare providers. Track and manage medical records and physical development for each child. Deliver health training to staff (e.g. hygiene practices, handwashing, etc.). Monitor school facilities for health and cleanliness. Promote health education with a focus on preventative care. Maintain clear and organised health documentation.
