The Careworker will be responsible for providing personal care and support services to our clients, including the elderly, disabled, and those with special needs. This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible hours and the opportunity for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, clients, and their families
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Attend training and development programs as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a care or support role preferred, but not required
- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check
