Requirements
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Up to 2 years relevant experience in projects, tenders,
(Mechanical Engineering related).
- Computer Literacy xe2x80x93 MS Office Applications & SAP.
- Code B driver's license.
- Must be physically fit to work in the power generation
in confined spaces.
- Will be required to perform standby duties after familiarization
Key Performance Areas
- Meeting with line management and relevant role players
prioritize upgrade and maintenance activities.
- Participate in compiling financial reports/ estimates to inform
- Provide input into Capital and Operating expenditure reports
with line managers and contractors.
- Investigates breakdowns and conduct fault finding exercises
breakdown.
- Identifying effected equipment and liaises with production,
optimize maintenance activities and minimize down time.
- Interpreting specifications from work orders, plans and drawings.
- Updating technical drawings.
- Updating records, entering data of new equipment.
- Updating and maintaining data for use on future projects.
- Forwarding technical specifications for equipment and materials,
to Supply Chain Management for tendering.
- Maintain accurate records and filing of all project documentation.
- Compile performance, measurement and progress reports
