Kloof - An established and reputable short term insurance firm is looking for a skilled Non-Motor Claims Consultant to join their claims department.
POSITION INFO:
A well-established firm and long-standing short-term insurance firm in the financial services sector is seeking an experienced Non-Motor Claims Consultant to manage and process claims efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing non-motor insurance claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms, and delivering high-quality service to clients. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to handle claims promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process non-motor insurance claims from initiation to resolution.
- Communicate with clients to gather required documentation and provide updates.
- Assess claims for validity, coverage, and appropriate settlements.
- Liaise with assessors and service providers to expedite claims processing.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client concerns effectively.
- Matric (Grade 12) with Maths non-negotiable
- 2-3 Years experience in Financial Services Sector highly advantageous
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft packages
- Strong administrative and business acumen
- Tertiary education in related fields - highly advantageous
- Excellent communication with a client-centric attitude
