The NOC Data Analyst transforms complex data into meaningful insights to enhance operational excellence within the Network Operations Center.
This role involves analyzing performance metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to improve network reliability and efficiency.
By collaborating with various teams, the analyst ensures data-driven decisions optimize performance, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery, utilizing data visualization and analytical techniques to effectively communicate findings and support organizational goals in telecommunications.
Key accountabilities
Data Translation and Storytelling: The ability to convert complex, raw data into clear, actionable business narratives and visualizations for non-technical leadership.
Telecommunications/NOC Domain Knowledge: Practical understanding of network operations concepts, including fault management, alarm thresholds, MTTR, and SLA adherence.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to structure ambiguous operational challenges into quantitative analysis problems and deliver specific, evidence-based recommendations.
Automation and Efficiency: Expertise in scripting and report automation to eliminate manual reporting effort and accelerate the delivery of insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with highly technical teams (NOC Engineers) and non-technical teams (Field Operations and Management).
Core competencies
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis is essential.
Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. (Power BI preferred)
