Night Shift Warehouse Manager Job Specification

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the warehousing Outbound picking and loading of our products in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while ensuring high levels of stock security, rotation and internal & external customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff management (forklift drivers, general workers)

2. Assets management (Equipment management including repair & maintenance and CHEP transfers management)

3. Stock management (final check of all dispatched stock) and stock rotation.

4. Human Resources Management (Own and TES staffing, time and attendance and disciplinary)

5. Deadline driven

6. Weekend work as and when required

7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards in warehousing processes

8. Train and mentor warehouse team members to enhance their skills and performance

9. Stock counts, risk counts and monthly stock counts

10. Housekeeping

11. Health & Safety compliance

12. Manage principal stock counts, security, preparation and checking of stock received and for delivery

13. 4am long distance dispatching

14. After hour supplier receipts as and when required

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of matric.

2. Proven Night Shift working track record.

3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the multi-temperature food distribution

4. Proven track record managing a team

5. Clear criminal record

Skills & attributes:

1. Strong administration, analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

2. Excellent communication abilities

3. Ability to lead and motivate a team

4. Able to work in a chilled environment with temperatures of 4?C

5. Forklift license will be advantageous

6. Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel)

7. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail with procedural compliance with existing Standard Operating Procedures and ability to review from time to time to enhance night shift operations excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R17500,00 - R22000,00 per month
