Getclosure helps businesses understand what is happening online. Our team provides social media monitoring, community management and media analysis services to leading local and international brands.
We are looking for a Newsletter Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and editing daily newsletters for distribution via email. The candidate will work as part of a team, and must be able to contribute to developing and growing a business in a fast-changing environment.
We are looking for a team player with excellent language and analytical skills, good news judgement, and a strong understanding of the international news media and social media platforms.
Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage); Strong media literacy, and awareness of international news; Ability to work to deadlines, accurately; Experience in distilling meaning from large volumes of data; Experience in a newsroom / corporate communications / public relations environment; Willingness to work to a shift schedule, when required; Applicant must live in Cape Town.
