A tertiary qualification in chemistry or related qual or SAPMA modules or related is preferred but not essential.
Previous key account or product management sales experience promoting speciality and commodity raw materials into the adhesive and coatings manufacturing raw material industry is preferred for the role.
Strong commercial drive, analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Driving new business development as well as managing all key accounts and principals on a national basis within the adhesives and coatings and related manufacturing markets on a national basis.
Maximizing profitability, controlling working capital, growing the portfolio and achieving budgetary objectives for your selected product portfolio.
Managing principals and introducing new product ranges, concepts and applications to the market.
Providing technical assistance to customers on a range of products.
Presenting and driving a business plan which will include strategies and sales forecasts for annual budgets.
Managing stock forecasts, debtor and working capital.
Presenting reports to senior management.
