A dynamic and fast-growing logistics company in Johannesburg East is looking to appoint a results-driven New Business Partner to expand their client base and drive sustainable growth.This role is ideal for a seasoned logistics sales professional with a passion for new business development, high-level client engagement, and strategic sales execution.Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and secure new business leads within the logistics and road freight industry.
• Engage with C-suite and executive-level clients, presenting tailored logistics solutions aligned with client needs.
• Conduct client meetings, build strong relationships, and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements in line with the companys pricing strategy.
• Support onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth handover to operations.
• Maintain updated records of all sales activities, prospects, and pipeline using CRM systems.
• Perform necessary administrative tasks to support the sales cycle.
• Continuously track market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a new business sales role within the logistics or road freight industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of executive-level business engagement and solution selling.
• Grade 12 qualification is essential.
• Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
• Customer Management or Sales certification is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage time effectively.
