Description
The purpose of this role is to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth through strategic business development, solution-based selling, and strong customer relationship management.
Key Objectives

  • Identify new markets and evolving customer needs to deliver value-added solutions
  • Actively promote Ecowize products and services
  • Effectively manage and achieve sales targets
  • Maintain daily and weekly call ratios to ensure consistent pipeline growth
  • Support overall business development and market expansion initiatives
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development within Food Industry sectors
  • Achieve agreed sales targets by developing and executing targeted growth strategies aligned to specific market segments
  • Build, manage, and grow a robust customer pipeline, meeting weekly and monthly performance targets
  • Conduct client site surveys and provide appropriate hygiene and technical solutions
  • Identify customer needs and challenges and provide feedback and reporting to management
  • Negotiate sales agreements and successfully close business deals
  • Initiate invoicing processes and ensure payment follow-ups
  • Manage the handover of new contracts to operational teams
  • Deliver value through ongoing after-sales service and customer engagement
  • Maintain and continuously improve service standards
  • Facilitate customer product training where required
  • Prepare and present reports on sales trends, customer growth, and customer-related issues
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing market conditions and customer requirements
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
  • 3-5 years' experience selling products to the food and beverage industry.
  • Exposure to from farm to fork applications would be ideal ,these include open plant cleaning , CIP (Clean-in-Place) and biosecurity .
  • Proven track record in establishing and growing hygiene markets.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Practical, hands-on understanding of environments where hygiene products are used.
  • Ability to train internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to assist clients during night-shift audits if required.
