Job Title: Business Development Sales Executive - ICT Sector

Location:

Multiple locations across South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and George)

Department: Sales / Business Development

Reports to: Sales Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose:

To drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting ICT solutions that align with client needs. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, target-driven professional with a strong understanding of the ICT landscape in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the ICT sector.
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging digital channels.
Engage with decision-makers across various sectors to understand their business challenges and propose tailored ICT solutions (PBX, Print, Voice or Connectivity, managed services, etc.).
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies and profitability targets.
Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, technical, customer success) to ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client information using CRM tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Matric (Grade 12) with a diploma or degree in Business, ICT, or related fields preferred.
3+ years of sales or business development experience in the ICT industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of ICT products and services, including PBX, Print, Voice or Connectivity.
Experience with consultative and solution-based selling.
