Are you an experienced Network & Security Engineer with a strong foundation in networking, security, and cloud technologies? I'm currently inviting skilled Network & Security Engineers to apply for upcoming contract and long-term assignments with various clients across South Africa.

I'm looking to connect with Network & Security Engineers who have hands-on experience designing, securing, and supporting network infrastructure in on-prem and cloud environments. By partnering with me, you'll be considered for multiple upcoming roles where your networking and security expertise will be in high demand.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures.
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and maintain network security controls and policies.
• Support cloud-based networking and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support security remediation.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Security+, CCNA or Cisco-related certifications

Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a Network Engineer or Network & Security Engineer.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologies.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and technologies.
• Exposure to cloud networking and security (Azure or AWS).
• Solid understanding of network security best practices and standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
