We are seeking an experienced and skilled

Network Cabling Team Leader/Technician

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of network cabling systems. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all installations meet industry standards and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. Perform cable pulls, tray installations, and ensure effective cable management practices. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of cabling systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within the specified deadlines. Maintain accurate documentation of installation activities, including as-built drawings, test results, and material usage. Strictly follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network cabling & Fiber installations and termination. Proficiency in the installation and termination of both copper and fiber optic cables. Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for network cabling. Experience with cable testing tools and equipment (e.g., cable certifiers, OTDRs, and power meters). Ability to read and interpret network diagrams, schematics, and construction drawings. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Valid driver's license. Industry certifications (e.g., Panduit, Systimax, Krone) are a plus. Residency in the Cape Town area. Matric certificate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R8000,00 - R16000,00 per month
