Lion Pride Academy is seeking a dynamic, values-driven Natural Science Teacher to join our team in delivering world-class, CAPS-aligned education infused with entrepreneurial learning. The ideal candidate will inspire learners to master the subject while developing essential real world scientific skills.
In addition to traditional natural science instruction, the educator will actively integrate entrepreneurial themes into the curriculum. Lessons will not only prepare learners for academic success but also equip them with the language tools to thrive as young entrepreneurs, confident presenters, and effective collaborators.
We are recruiting a versatile Intermediate & Senior Phase Teacher who can teach across Grades 4-9. The ideal candidate is adaptable, confident across multiple grades, and eager to contribute to learner success both academically and through whole-child development.
Intermediate & Senior Phase Teacher responsibilities are:
Multi-Phase Curriculum Delivery

• Prepare and teach CAPS-aligned lessons in subject(s) across Grades 4-9.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learner needs.

Assessment and Feedback

• Implement assessment strategies that drive academic growth.
• Track progress and maintain accurate learner records.

Learner Development and Classroom Culture

• Build a positive classroom environment centred on excellence, curiosity, and collaboration.
• Guide learners through developmental transitions between phases.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Foster meaningful relationships with parents and school staff.
• Participate in campus-wide events and initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

• Embrace feedback, training, and professional learning to refine teaching practice.

Intermediate & Senior Phase Teacher requirements are:

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Intermediate and/or Senior Phase OR a degree with PGCE.
• Valid SACE registration and police clearance.
• Proficient in English and knowledgeable in CAPS.
• Strong behavioural management, communication, and planning skills.
• Ability to inspire learners, model ethical conduct, and innovate in the classroom.
