National Technical Manager (must Have Gaming/electronics Experience)

Job Description


Duties:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of all technical departments.
- Sourcing, procuring, and managing stock levels to ensure all attractions can operate optimally.
- Working with the national operations manager to formulate a technical strategy.
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training of staff
- Time and attendance management.
- Performance management.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing your team members.
- Disciplinary management.
- Drafting, maintaining SOPs, and training SOP material in line with the technical strategy.
- Implementing and maintaining technical training.
- Formulating budget responsibilities with the executive team.
- Ensuring budget targets are met and chasing targets.
- Implementing policy and procedures for cost reductions.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant registrations.
- Ensure minimum downtime on attractions and machines.
- Oversee and advise on troubleshooting mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Identifying, reporting faults, and working with the national operations manager to reduce downtime on attractions and machines.
- Identifying where resources are needed and allocating them accordingly.
- Monitors functionality of all attractions and arcade equipment.
- Study new machine manuals in order to provide training on the operational mechanics of the machines to the technicians.
- Looking for the best solution to a fault and seeing it through until it is resolved up to company standards.
- Providing and formulating reports to the executive team.
- Collecting, analysing, and interpreting technical data on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
- This is not an exhaustive list of tasks and responsibilities, and the post may require additional tasks and responsibilities as per operational requirements.

Requirments:
Qualifications & Experience:

-Minimum of an Electronics qualification (N7 or above)
-Minimum 10 years experience in electronics/gaming industry.
-Minimum 5 years experience in a management role. Working Knowledge Required:

  • -Fully proficient on all Microsoft Office packages:
  • -Outlook (Level Intermediate Word Excel (Level Intermediate)- PowerPoint
  • -Health and safety requirements and acts.
  • -Strong IT and network knowledge.
  • -Data management and Analytics.
-Extensive electronics and mechanical workings knowledge.
-Board repairs (level 1)
